Tuesday evening, June 17th… Lunch was good…Diner too…the work day sucked!

We left this after noon to run a few errands and ended up at “Two Kids Bake Shop” for lunch, which turned out to be a very delicious and satisfying experience. This little bake shop is located on Garland lane in Greenville. Turn off of route 32 just after the traffic light, but before you get to the Bryant's lot and unto Garland Lane, between the Rite Aid drug store and the Greene County Bank, drive to the mini-mall complex with the dollar store and right next to it you will find both Keren & Reggie Ratcliff, parents of the “Two Kids”, namesake of the business. They serve lunch specials until 2:00pm daily and create their magical baking goodies all day long. They also make several different loaves of bread daily for sale and they use this bread on their speciality sandwiches at lunchtime. You can purchase small and large cakes made daily or order one for a celebration or a special occassion. Stop in for a delicious lunch time meal at a really fair price. The smiles and friendly greeting are free! Their hours are:

Mon. Noon-6pm  Tues.-Fri, 8am-6pm  Sat. 8am-3pm Closed Sunday.  Place orders by phone at (518)966-8366

This is now one of our favorite lunch stops!

We love the homey atmosphere... Look at the old mixers.

You can grab a coffee and a danish to eat here too!

This is Keren and Reggie with their Daughter. They also have a Son.

When we got back to the house, we noticed the bird sitting in the pine tree, making a fuss, so we checked and found her nest was running over with birdies!!

Momma bird watching from a branch in the tree.

Now that's a nest full of Birdies!

Later in the afternoon, we started to place plywood up on the top of the barn, but ran into a problem with square and had to recruit the help of Jeff the builder. He is coming by tomorrow to snap a few chalk lines to square me up, but we did get the steps installed and useable. It’s nice to go up stairs instead of a ladder finally.

This is the loft flooring plywood and 115 precut 2x4's for the loft walls.

After finishing that, we went to Paul’s in Coxsackie for dinner Now all we can do is go to bed and watch TV until we fall asleep. (should take about 3 minutes)
