We will place another building out by the barn which will have a sign over the door stating: Nature’s Friend’s of Hospice, Inc., which will be an entirely separate entity from The Cluckin’ “A” Critter Farm. Vicki plans to sell items in this store that will be a 100% benefit to the Hospice program and then there will be art prints by Vicki and I , stained glass by Vicki, my books once published, and a disc containing over 150 pictures and post cards of historical and educational areas in the Catskill Mountain and Hudson River Valley region. When these items sell, we will donate 25% of the proceeds to the Hospice program. There will also be an area dedicated to the farm where we will offer eggs and other items from the Cluckin’ “A” Critter Farm which is soon to be a registered “DBA” business.
Vicki spent a couple hours on the phone with a CPA working on the paperwork and getting incorporated, then with Keith Mann of the Washington County Health and Hospice, getting them into the loop and securing the necessary paperwork from them.
The farm, animals and our lifelong dreams of being able to give back because of all the blessings we’ve received in our life, are finally coming to fruition. We will also add a page to the website where you will be able to buy Hospice items and send donations to us by check, credit card and Pay-Pal.
