Esmarelda Throwing her Fit!

When Vicki or I go to collect the eggs in the morning, a lot of the time, there are no chickens in the henhouse, but occasionally there is one on the nest when we go there. Today, it was Esmarelda. She takes particular offense in our robbing the nest of eggs and she lets you know. Just click the link below to see one pissed off chicken.     http://www.cluckinacritterfarm.com/esmarelda.mpg

Yesterday we had to go to Agway to pick up a bunch of feed.....about $150.00 worth for the farm. It's expensive maintaining a farm with critters. There is feed, vet care, supplies, hay, wood chips for bedding and maintenance of the buildings. All expensive, necessary cost in exchange for the eggs and company the animals give you and there is no price that can be placed on the peaceful enjoyment received by living here on the Cluckin' "A" Critter Farm.  Anyway, as I was saying, we went for feed and below are some of the things we saw on the way there and back.

This must be a NY harvest truck
