Melting Snow Causing Floods, but the Geese are Back!

The snow is melting and that combined with the rain is causing wide spread flooding everywhere you look. The water was running full force in the Pupskill lake here on the Cluckin' "A" Critter Farm, so much in fact, that it was running over the road. That means that the two 48" pipes under the road could not handle the amount of water on the upstream side of the road and it ran over the top of the road.......probably enough to fill yet another 48" pipe.    BUT, Look at the picture below. I'd say in light of this, we are definitely over the hump! (I hope)

Flying due north, these Canadian Wild Geese wondered where their nesting sites were. Little did they know their spot was floating down the Hudson toward New York City thanks to the huge snow melt and rain!
